48 Hours in Singapore with kids

48 wonderful hours to soak up all the delights of Singapore with the kiddos in tow. If the thought of navigating a city teeming with as many sights and sounds as Singapore might be a touch daunting. We’re here to help guide you through it!

Day 1: Morning

Launch the Day at Sentosa Island

Before the sun gets too hot, pop over to Sentosa Island. You could start the day with Universal Studios which will always be a winner with the kids, but we would also recommend the Skyline Luge in Sentosa. Imagine your zooming down a hill, wind in your hair with the kids giggling beside you. And the chairlift ride back up is the perfect moment to catch your breath and soak in those stunning views of Sentosa.

Day 1: Afternoon

Gardens by the Bay

Post-lunch, ease into the afternoon with a stroll through Gardens by the Bay. The Flower Dome and Cloud Forest provide a much-needed respite from the Singapore heat, and the towering Supertree Grove is like a sci-fi dream. Stick around for the Garden Rhapsody light show as the evening creeps in – it’s free and fabulously captivating.

Day 2: Morning

ArtScience Museum

Fuel up at your hotel or a local cafe and head to the ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay Sands. It's a beautiful! The interactive and digital installations are just mind-blowing – perfect for curious little minds (and big ones too!).

Day 2: Afternoon

Singapore Flyer

Round up the day with a ride on the Singapore Flyer. We recommend timing it just right to catch the sunset, and you'll have a panoramic spectacle of the city painted in twilight hues. It'll be the cherry on the top of a jam-packed adventure.

Dining, Snacking, and Sipping

Food in Singapore is an adventure by itself. With a fusion of Chinese, Indian, and Malay flavors, there's a treat around every corner. Hawker centers such as Newton Food Centre and Lau Pa Sat are street food heaven and perfect for fussy eaters; there's something for everyone.

Hacks for Parents

  • Stay Hydrated: Keep those water bottles filled; the heat can up on you
  • Plan Your Route: Singapore might be small, but it's mighty in all it has to offer. A little planning goes a long way.
  • Be Flexible: Sometimes the most memorable moments come from unplanned detours!

There we have it – a whirlwind 48-hour itinerary in Singapore with kids.

Remember, amid the dash from one spot to another, to pause and soak it all in. Singapore is a treasure trove of experiences, and you’ve only just scratched the surface. You'll leave already planning the next adventure in your mind!
